Lost & Found

Hey, everyone! After a successful smoke test (sending surveys to a very small sample of backers to check for issues), we're confident that the Pledge Manager is ready to go. You should be receiving your surveys any time now. 

If you're new to crowdfunding, the Pledge Manager is how we will track reward distribution. We'll ask for your address (if you backed at a physical tier) and any other information we need to fulfill the order. You can also select any add-ons you want before submitting, so if you want to add on a hardcover, set of dice, or any of the beautiful miniatures, you can do so before locking everything in.

If you don't see the survey email soon (usually within 24h), be sure to check your spam folder, and if it's not there, give us a shout at [email protected] so we can get that sorted out for you.

That said, we also have Late Pledges open, so if you missed the campaign altogether, you can still get in on the fun.

Hey, everyone!

I've got some good news for you — the pledge manager should go live later this week, with a smoke test going out to limited recipients a bit earlier to troubleshoot any issues before we send it to everyone. So keep an eye on your inbox over the next few days!

On top of that, Late Pledges are open with the BackerKit pre-order tool! If you haven't pledged yet, you can pick and choose to get precisely what you want if we didn't offer a tier for that during the live campaign.

If you did a pre-reservation for the physical Valdeer miniature or bookmark, once you get your survey, you will be able to select which one you want.. There should be a dropdown menu that allows you to select the option you prefer.

And finally, the painting contest was a rousing success, and we'll have our winners to announce soon! We'll be contacting each winner through MyMiniFactory. Congrats to them in advance, and thank you all for entering and bringing Lost & Found to life!

Hey, everyone! I just wanted to say thank you for your support in making Lost & Found a success and helping us cross the finish line so we can get this book out to y'all.

While we didn't quite reach the amount we'd hoped, we did enough to cover production costs and get this story out there into the world--and more importantly, into your hands. And we absolutely could not have done that without you. So this is a heartfelt thanks for helping us get Tales of Sordane off the ground and ready to grow.
 
We're finalizing details with the printer right now, and they should be in production very soon. (I want to say within a couple of weeks, but manufacturing timelines can be fickle things, so I'll let you know as soon as I do. Promise.)

Additionally, I'm working on getting the Pledge Manager set up for you, so keep an eye on your inboxes for your surveys, in which we'll be asking for information as to where to send your rewards, especially if you backed a physical tier.

Looking Ahead

Our very next project is a Pantheons release for Silver Dragons. You can follow the campaign over on MyMiniFactory and get a free silver dragon wyrmling added to your library immediately.


After that, we've got a board game called Weretigers launching in (probably) May and then the much-awaited Aldarra reprint + new expansion right after that.

There are more novels, too!

This isn't the only book we're doing, either! Tales of Sordane is here to stay. Rob is hard at work on the sequel to Lost & Found, so I know you're going to be excited about that. We don't have a title for the book yet, but when I get more information on it, I'll share it here. If you want to be a part of that, there will still be the add-on in the Pledge Manager you can choose to name a character in that book!

Also, Ann H. Fox is coming to BackerKit this fall with her novel Spelldriver. We have the BackerKit teaser page set up right now where you can go follow along and get updates as we move toward launching that project.

And the time has come! As we mentioned a few updats back, we're giving you a free STL mini and holding a painting contest! And it's live RIGHT NOW! You can click that link to head to the contest page and download your free STL of Valdeer, the human bard protagonist from Lost & Found.

The painting contest will run from March 25 (today) to April 7th, and the winners for first, second, and third prizes will be chosen by the Sordane Publishing team and announced after it's closed.

The winner will receive a complete set of Lost & Found miniatures, in physical and digital formats, valued at $90. The second and third prizes will be full STL sets of the Lost & Found heroes, valued at $25 each.



How To Enter:

It's dead simple to enter: follow this link to the MyMiniFactory competition page, and then download the Valdeer STL, 3D print it, and paint it. How you do all that is up to you.

When you're ready, photograph your finished work and then upload it to the competition page! You should be able to enter any number of photos/angles of your work, but there must be at least one image where we can see the front of the miniature.

Congratulations! Y'all did it! We've unlocked a copy of the Valdeer short story for everyone, and are moving our way into the Grone one. We need $10k to blow past it, but I know we can do that in no time, right, folks?

Every single person who backs the project will get access to the digital version of the Valdeer short story, going into the background of the character before the events that get him and the other heroes tied up in the fight for Forastad.
